Overall it is a good resort but the quality of the food is poor. They need to rectify this. From what I have read and from my own experience this is a problem throughout Mauritius. I would not return to Mauritius.

Absolutely amazing time we have spent at St Regis Le Morne Resort. The resort is beautiful, quiet and very clean. Our room 493 was amazing suite with an ocean view and a terrace. The food is great we ate at the 4 of the 5 restaurants except the Indya and food was delicious and very high quality! The staff make us feel like we are home ,everyone was so kind and polite. Our favorites are Aroumel at the pool ,she was always great with us with her big smile everytime .Also we liked Veronne from the breakfast she always got us on our favorite table next to the pool ! Our driver Nadin also very nice and polite person and the taxi driver Rajoo who took us to the Port Louis and the La Vanille park and waited for us when we were there. I wanted to say big thank you to the whole St Regis La Morne team and we cant wait to be back next time with our kids! Thank you!

We stayed at Le Jadis in one of their beach villas, and for the price they charge, the experience was honestly disappointing. We found several bugs — on the couch and even in the bathroom — and there were a lot of mosquitos, with my wife getting the majority of the bites. For a supposedly five-star luxury villa, that’s really not acceptable. Parking was also a hassle. Despite staying in one of their premium villas, I was asked to park outside the resort because there wasn’t enough parking available. For a hotel in this price range, that’s simply poor planning and not the kind of experience you expect. When we requested a late checkout, the hotel only offered an extra hour, even though they confirmed they weren’t fully booked. This was especially disappointing after explaining that my wife is pregnant — the lack of empathy and flexibility really stood out. Some of the staff members were great, particularly the waiters, who were polite and attentive. However, the concierge service could be improved — when I asked a few basic questions, they didn’t seem to know the answers and had to check with the manager. To make matters worse, we were accused of taking extra snacks from the minibar, which we did not. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially given that we had already paid for a high-end villa experience. The food was good but limited, which again doesn’t justify the premium price tag. Everything was perfect! The room, the food, the bar, the staff etc. The only thing is that since it’s winter over there it was very windy and kinda cold during the evening/ night. The room services were great! They’re up very early everyday to come clean your room, a bit too much but its part of the service and it’s remarkable to see them working.

Stunning location with fantastic food & facilities and friendly staff. Paradise 🏝️. Only area for improvement was to have more staff serving at the pool bar
